“Lykke by Julie’s” privacy statement

This privacy statement tells us how “Lykke by Julie” collects and uses personal information.

“Lykke by Julie”, by the director, is the responsible manager for the processing of personal data. The statement contains information that you require when collecting information from our website (Personal Information Act, section 19) and general information about how we treat personal data (section 18, section 1, paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Act) by Norwegian Law.

Processing of personal data at Lykkebyjulie.com

The web editor has the daily responsibility for “Lykke by Julie’s ”personal data processing at Lykkebyjulie.com. It is voluntary for those who visit the web sites to provide personal information related to services, such as receiving newsletters or shopping products. The treatment basis is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.

WordPress is “Lykke by Julie”’s data processor, and WP Engine is our site maintenance provider.

It’s only “Lykke by Julie” who has access to the information collected.

Online Statistics

“Lykke by Julie” collects unidentified information about visitors at Lykkebyjulie.com. The purpose of this is to develop statistics that we use to improve and further develop information services on the site. Examples of what the statistics provide is how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, what websites users come from and what browsers are using.

We use the Google Analytics analysis tool on our site. This is an open source (GPL) tool and is installed on a dedicated server with the service provider. Information from this tool is not provided from “Lykke by Julie” to other actors.

Comments on the blog

All posts and related comments are filed in accordance with the archives.

You can leave comments without registering. If you leave your name and address, the information will remain as part of the post. If you have published comments that you want to correct or delete, please contact us so we can review it. However, you do not have the right to correct and delete expressions.

Sharing posts on the blog

When you share posts, information is added to the web community you choose. How the particular web community handles the data is governed by your agreement with the community. However, information about sharing a post is not stored with us.

Newsletter

“Lykke by Julie” sends out newsletters about 2-4 times per month via email. In order for us to be able to send e-mail, you must register an e-mail address. Mailchimp is the data processor for the newsletter. The e-mail address is stored in a separate database, not shared with others and deleted when you unsubscribe. The e-mail address will also be deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. You can choose to indicate if you represent a business, private, journalist or other. This is done so that we only send relevant information.

Ordering of products

On the website you can order and shop for products by “Lykke by Julie”. We ask for your name, address, e-mail and telephone number so we can send the goods to you. Paypal handles the payment. Personal information we receive when ordering products is not used for any purpose other than handling the order. During the booking you can also sign up for our newsletter.

Email and phone

“Lykke by Julie” uses e-mail and telephone as part of the daily work to fulfill the statutory duties of the Authority pursuant to the Personal Information Act and Administrative Act. Relevant information arising from telephone conversations and e-mail exchanges that occur as part of the case processing is recorded. This information is treated  confidential. “Lykke by Julie’s” employees also use email in general dialogue with internal and external contacts. The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant and at least annually review and delete unnecessary content in the emailbox. Upon resignation, e-mail accounts are deleted, but some relevant emails will usually be transferred to colleagues.

Sensitive personal information must not be sent by e-mail.

We notify you that regular email is unencrypted. Therefore, we do not encourage you to send confidential, sensitive or other confidential information via email.

Rights

All who ask are entitled to basic information about personal data processing in a company pursuant to section 18, first paragraph, of the Personal Information Act. “Lykke by Julie” has provided this information in this statement and will refer it to any requests. Those registered in one of “Lykke by Julie”’s systems are entitled to access in their own information. The person also has the right to request that incorrect, incomplete or information “Lykke by Julie” has no access to processing is corrected, deleted or supplemented.
